Lately I have been loving jewlery and this beautiful and darling girl I used to babysit, is now a grown up young woman and makes the most stunning jewlery. I am presently hunting her down to make me another necklace.
In the meantime, to tide me over, I will just have to enjoy looking at these beauties:

Which reminds me of Huichol yarn paintings. Huichol art is made by coating a piece of wood with bees wax, and then using small strands of yarn to create images that reflect the Mexican Huichol tribes beliefs and spirituality.
