A breath of fall and a new piece

Good Noon-Time,

I am presently listening to Lady in Red, and relishing in how groovy it is. Makes me want to wear a red dress and be admired so much a song is written about me.

This past weekend was the best of the best. Scott and I went to his family cottage up on lake muskoka for Thanksgiving, it was spectacular. The leaves were all changing colours. We went for a hike on Sunday and visited the Oktoberfest sausage and cider festival at the Marina by the lake. Was dreamy.

I was also lucky enough to have some solitude in my favourite room of the cottage; its at the back of the cottage and is all windows and a large set of doors, lovely view and nice and quiet. During this time I worked on a new painting that I would like to show you:

The insomniac
Oil, gauze and masonite on board. 2009

I hope you all find some time to love the fall as much as I was able to! Tell me, what is your fave fall season activity?

Love always

Rachael
