Artists I admire and Prize Draw

Good morning,

I am starting my wednesday morning off right, with a cuppa joe, some oatmeal in my belly, and a night of solid sleep behind me.

I would like to announce a PRIZE DRAW for an original painting, done by me, using a theme of your choice

Prize draw guidlines will be given at the end of this post. But first, I want to highlight some of my fave artists of the moment....

HERE WEEE GOOO!

Marcel Dzama

Amy Rice

Incredible work!

I am presently taking a class at Ryerson, called Models of Personal Growth. As I persue my future as an art therapist, I chose this class to enhance my abilities to explore methods of personal healing. The prof is having us do several journal activities, and me being the brown-noser I am, I have decided to do a combination of written entries with small paintings and collages.

She seems like a kindred spirit that would truly appreciate it, not to mention it would be super fun!

All my love

Rachael

This would be a great gift for my husband, who loves contemporary art from emerging talents... I have an idea already! Pick me!

I think I already have one of those paintings - the one with the ween on it. Gotta hang that guy.

The one with the ween on it is by Regan. Not me....but you get to pick the colours and theme of the painting if you win!

I think some artist, besides you, that I really enjoy are: http://www.ingridartstudio.com/, http://www.monkeyappleartfactory.com/, and also http://www.storypeople.com/storypeople/Home.do.
