My recent trip to Mackinac Island in Michigan, brought about a surge of inspirational love for all things rustic-horse-moccasin related. One of the kitchey tourist shops had these bad-boys for far less than I would pay in ye ol Canada:
I was also inspired by tacky paintings of deer on sawed log disks and it got me thinking about my next art project. It looks like my lovely partner Scott has some wood chopping in store for him at the Scottage in a couple weeks.
